"Sexual Harassment of Hispanic Women Farmworkers"

Join us for a presentation from Stephen A. McCurdy, MD, MPH from UC Davis' own Western Center for Agricultural Health and Safety. Dr. McCurdy is a Professor in the Department of Epidemiology & Preventive Medicine and the director of the Master of Public Health Program at the University of California, Davis. He is a leading expert in conditions that influence the health and safety of migrant Hispanic farmworkers and helped establish the Center for Agricultural Research, Education and Disease and Injury Prevention through the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. His research focuses on job-related hazards such as pesticide poisoning; skin disease and respiratory illnesses in seasonal agricultural workers; muscle strain injuries, and most recently, sexual harassment of women farmworkers.
