Marc B. Schenker, MD, MPH, is a Distinguished Professor of Public Health Sciences and Medicine at UC Davis. He is Founding Director of the Center for Occupational and Environmental Health, the Western Center for Agricultural Health and Safety, and the Migration and Health Research Center.
Dr. Schenker's work has focused on agricultural populations, including farmworkers and their families, farm owners, and managers, and the diverse causes of illness and injury, including agricultural dusts, pesticides, and heat. He has engaged occupational health researchers and epidemiologists on the global health disparities affecting immigrants, with particular attention to the occupational health outcomes among immigrant workers.
