Entendiendo los efectos del calor – sabemos que el calor nos puede enfermar, pero ¿qué es realmente lo que pasa a nuestro cuerpo? ¿Por qué el calor puede causar la muerte? ¿Qué puedo hacer para reducir mi riesgo, y cuáles son mis derechos laborales respecto al calor? En esta presentación discutiremos las respuestas a estas preguntas, para prepararnos y poder reducir nuestro riesgo de enfermarnos por el calor.

Understanding the effects of heat–we know that heat can make us sick, but what really happens to our body? Why can heat cause death? What can I do to reduce my risk, and what are my workplace rights regarding heat? In this presentation we will discuss the answers to these questions, reducing the risk of heat illness.
The presentation will be in English with simultaneous interpretation to Spanish.
